iForce awarded three year fulfilment deal by Houseology
iForce, the fastest growing supply chain business in the UK, has secured a significant contract to provide a wide-range of fulfilment services to Houseology, the UK’ s premier online interior design store founded by Kate & Jim Mooney. From this autumn, iForce will deliver a full service proposition across the retailer’s logistical operation.
Under the terms of the three-year deal, Houseology will utilise iForce Gateway, the multichannel order fulfilment and warehouse management solution powered by the proprietary software SMART, from the company’s multi-client warehouse in Saltley, near Birmingham. This will be supplemented by the deployment of iForce Pathfinder, the innovative carrier management solution that is underpinned by the Route Genie software. This will enable Houseology to streamline how it picks the most suitable delivery partners for different orders, as well as handling communications sent to consumers receiving goods, ensuring Houseology’ s customers receive the best possible delivery experience.
In addition, Houseology has chosen iForce to efficiently manage all returns.iForce Revive will enable the retailer to maximise the recovery value of all returned items through remedial action, as well as selling selected products through its dedicated auction site iForce Marketzone. Annually, iForce processes over £200m of returned products through iForce Revive, with customers typically receiving £15 of stock value for every £1 spent with the company.
