Sustainability is at the heart of what we do

At iForce, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We recognise that thriving in today’s business landscape requires acknowledging the environmental impact of our operations. As the alarming effects of climate change become increasingly evident, both locally and globally, our focus has shifted towards minimising our environmental footprint. We are committed to protecting the environment, our people, and local communities while simultaneously providing the highest level of support to some of the UK’s biggest brands through a sustainable supply chain service.

In response to this growing emphasis on sustainability, we’ve taken significant steps to enhance our environmental practices across our processes, products, and projects.

Putting sustainability into action

  • iForce are a certified Co2e accessed organisation
  • We are proud to also be a Certified Carbon Neutral Organisation
  • iForce have a Carbon Management policy and plan to manage and reduce our total carbon emissions, working to PAS2060 Standards
  • We are committed to Science Based Target Initiatives
  • ISO14001-2015 Environmental Management system implemented across all our sites
  • Zero to Landfill, 100% of our waste is either reused, recycled or recovered

Investing in a sustainable future

  • Retro Fitted all sites with energy efficient LED lighting
  • Certified 100% renewable energy
  • Consistent programme of investment in automation, technology and our warehousing to deliver efficiencies
  • Installation of EV charging points throughout our sites
  • Solar PV installations at 2 sites. Intention to expand these and deploy across other sites
  • Offset 100% of our residual carbon emissions with Verified Gold Standard renewable energy projects

The Culina Group

The Culina Group are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050. Group initiative include

  • 86% load fill on our shared-user transport network vs industry average of 73%
  • 100% EURO6 vehicle fleet (that’s 5,500+ vehicles)
  • Fleet MPG average >10mpg vs industry average of 7.9mpg
  • 30 million road miles and 30,000Te CO2 per annum saved through rail use
  • 100% of electricity from renewable sources
  • 500k sq.ft of solar panels installed
  • EV charging point rollout
  • LED lighting saving 205Te CO2 per annum
  • Use of HVO fuel, emitting 45% less CO2 than diesel
  • Part of the Zero Emissions Road Freight Demonstration (ZERFD) – Electric & Hydrogen HGV’s.
