iForce shortlisted for a Retail Week Supply Chain Award

iForce, the fastest growing supply chain business in the UK has been shortlisted in the third party logistics provider of the year category at this year’s prestigious Hermes Retail Week Supply Chain Awards.

iForce enjoyed a record-breaking 2015 as it witnessed a 57.8% growth in the number of items it picked for customers of its retail clients compared to the previous year. The company fulfilled 82.2 million items during the calendar year, compared to 52 million in 2014. Its Peak trading period, 21st November 2015 – 2nd January 2016, was also a bumper season, with items picked up 24% to 13.9m whilst orders were up 4.8% to 1.6m, pointing to a significant increase in value per order placed online this year compared to last.

iForce won this same award in 2015 and more recently, in June this year, won the Logistics Supplier of the Year at the Grocer Gold Awards.

“We are delighted to have been recognised in the Retail Week Supply Chain Awards this year. To be shortlisted again is evidence of the effort made by the whole team.” Commented Brian Gaunt, CEO iForce.

The Hermes Retail Week Supply Chain Awards will take place on the night of 29th September 2016 in London.
