iForce joins 3.24% of companies to gain an Investors In People Silver Accreditation
Leading retail multichannel and reverse logistics specialist, iForce, is delighted to announce its Silver Investors In People (IIP) award. The prestigious independent body awarded iForce the rare accreditation after visiting its eight sites around the UK, where it was deemed to have achieved over and above the required benchmark required.
The areas focused upon by the independent external review included: colleague attitude and behaviours; performance against internal and client KPIs; true levels of Corporate Social Responsibility; the quality of working partnerships with clients; the sense of pride felt by colleagues in their work; a well structured communications strategy; an established track record of nurturing talent at all levels; and a state of evolving opportunity through multi site operations, and more.
Worthy of note was the fact that the IIP accreditation included iForce’s two newest sites at Sutton (Fortnum and Mason) and St Neot’s (Cath Kidston) both of which joined the iForce client roster last year. The IIP examiner noted that these sites were integrated to such an extent that they felt like they had been part of the team for 10 years and not just 10 months.
“The whole iForce team has pulled together and worked extremely hard to build on our initial IIP accreditation of three years ago, now to achieve Silver accreditation, under the new rules and targets. To be one of just over 3% of companies to achieve this accolade is something that I know everyone here takes great pride in. This focus is now ingrained in all we do, and never one to rest on our laurels or ignore a challenge, we now have our eye on Gold,” said Mark Hewitt, CEO iForce.
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People said: “Businesses that achieve the Investors in People Standard have proven their commitment to realising the potential of their people, adopting sound people management practices we know contribute to organisational success, and then evidencing this through a rigorous assessment process.”
