iForce gains Health and Safety and Environmental BS accreditations across all sites
Leading retail multichannel and reverse logistics specialist, iForce, has been recognised for the quality of its Health and Safety and Environmental management systems, earning them the BS 0HSAS 18001 and BS14001 accreditations across their seven operational sites. This includes their two new sites in Cambridgeshire, who have impressively gained the BS18001 accreditation within one year of going live.
iForce’s Redditch site was the first to gain the 18001 standard in June 2011 with the last site, St Neots, completing the process in March 2013. All seven sites are now accredited to the internationally recognised standard.
Milton Park and Redditch also gained the 14001 accreditations Environmental management systems and practices that met the standard in late March 2013. iForce is working towards the other 5 operational sites gaining this accreditation within 12 months.
The accreditations demonstrate iForce’s competence, impartiality and performance capability, and are key to reducing risk in a ‘high risk’ business. Both standards are internationally recognised and BSI themselves are accredited by UKAS which is the UK Accreditation Service.
