Shift Manager - Stoke

Full Time (40 hours per week) Working days/hours: Any 5/7 days between 6:15am and 10:15pm

Role Purpose: To manage the shift to deliver excellent service for our customer – both inbound and outbound. By displaying a positive outlook and approach, you will ensure that Stoke is a great place to work and that all colleagues are engaged and supported to deliver the sites priorities. You will be a member of the site management team and will be the leader on shift.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the shift inbound and outbound operational processes, ensuring they are on time, on cost and accurate
  • Welfare of all colleagues on site
  • Ensure your team (both direct reports and warehouse colleagues) are equipped to do their job
  • Drive a positive culture to make Stoke a great place to work
  • Assist in the operational resource and performance planning processes
  • Maintain relevant performance management processes including the company disciplinary procedure
  • Provide guidance, support, instruction and training for the development of skills, knowledge and awareness relative to operational requirements, health, safety and welfare of all staff within your areas of responsibility
  • Conduct investigative processes and where appropriate take relevant action with regards to providing improvement to operational deficiencies and implementation of change
