PRESS RELEASE October 2007
iForce wins SkinStore's beauty efulfilment contest
iForce, the leading efulfilment and reverse logistics specialist has signed an agreement to provide an efulfilment service for SkinStore's first transactional website in the UK.
Dedicated beauty service, SkinStore offers easy access to the very latest anti-ageing treatments and innovative skin and body products. The company was founded in the US in 1997 by a team of physicians who recognised that by using the Internet they could bring dermatologist-created and recommended skin care products to a much larger audience. SkinStore was developed to give consumers and patients a convenient and reliable source for all their skin, hair, and nail care needs.
SkinStore ships thousands of international orders all over the world, with new sites being created for individual countries from the UK to Korea, and has more than 500,000 satisfied customers, clients and patients.
SkinStore.co.uk was launched to provide a localised service to the UK. Over 1,600 quality products from the finest physician recommended, spa, and department store brands are on offer.
Finding the right efulfilment partner is important for SkinStore, which has a firm commitment to its customers, clients, and patients to offer exceptional service, ease of ordering, fast delivery, and genuine products at the most competitive prices.
"SkinStore's aim is to become the leading skincare and beauty online retailer in the UK. To achieve this it is essential we provide the highest level of service. We needed to find a fulfilment partner who could deliver the quality of service that our customers demand and keep up with our rapidly expanding business. iForce impressed us with their attention to detail, technology and ability to handle quality consumer goods," said Philip Rooke, Managing Director, SkinStore Europe.
Philip added: "Our supply chain at SkinStore involves many brands and products that arrive from our US warehouse or some vendors only ordered by the customer. iForce's system, called SMaRTÔ, gave us the confidence that our any issues caused by our supply chain would be managed in a timely way." The three-year contract will see iForce providing an efulfilment service from its East Molesey centre in Surrey from September 2007.
Mark Hewitt, CEO at iForce, commented: "We are extremely pleased to be partnering such a successful and innovative business as SkinStore. Our ability to scale our business to accommodate the high growth levels being achieved in the online retail sector will allow SkinStore.co.uk to go from strength to strength in the UK, just at SkinStore has done in the US. Our experience in fulfilling online orders that meet the high expectations of our clients' customers means we can also deliver the high service levels expected by SkinStore." www.iforcegroup.com Editor's Notes:
